What if you could paint a picture without paint, brushes, or even a needle?
Join us for a cozy and creative Wool Painting – Felting Art Master Class with Elena Shevchenko, where soft, colorful wool becomes your artistic medium.
Instead of paints, participants will use layers of dry wool fibers to build their pictures — combining and blending colors, creating soft transitions, adding details, and gradually transforming loose wool into a beautiful piece of art. The finished composition is placed in a frame, creating a unique wool painting to take home.
There is no single project that everyone has to copy.
You may choose your own subject and create something that speaks to you — a landscape, flowers, an animal, an abstract composition, or another idea entirely. Every project will be different, and every finished painting will be unique.
Elena will guide participants through the technique, help select and combine colors, and work individually with each person to help bring their idea to life.
No Needles — this class does not use needle-felting techniques
Beginner-Friendly — no previous felting or art experience is necessary
Paint with Wool — discover how wool fibers can be layered and blended almost like paint
Choose Your Own Design — create the picture YOU want rather than following one required pattern
Individual Guidance — Elena will help you develop your idea and work through the creative process
Your Own Unique Artwork — no two paintings will be exactly alike
Take It Home — your finished wool painting will be placed in a frame to take home
All materials and tools will be provided.
This class is about more than learning a new craft. It is an opportunity to slow down, experiment with color and texture, and discover what happens when an ordinary material like wool becomes an entirely different kind of artistic medium.
