Young Adults Retreat (Sold Out)
Join other Russian-Speaking young people age 21+
What: We're organizing a retreat that has a schedule of activities, aimed at young adults including:
• Outdoor Bonfire with acoustic musicians (bring your guitars)
• Teambuilding activities
• Swimming and Sauna
• Nature Walks and Survival Skills
• Alpine Tower, Climbing Wall, Swing Line
• X-Country, Snowtubing, Snowshoeing, Skating
• Arts & Crafts, Games, Music Party
How much: The majority of your payment will be covered by our Young Adults grant. You may stay with us one or 2 nights, and your cost will be partially prorated. with an Early Bird Special, your cost is $119 for one night or $198 for both nights.
When: You may check-in starting from 4 pm on Friday, March 15 and check-out (assuming you're coming for the full weekend) at 4 pm on Sunday, March 17.
Where: Berkshire Outdoors. 748 Hamilton Road, Becket, MA 01223
What do I need to bring with me: Bring your personal belonging, pillows, blankets, linens, or sleeping bags, Bath Towel, Beach Towel, Aqua shoes, Swimsuit, sports clothes, warm clothes, pajamas, etc. You'll be placed in the room with other young adults of the same gender. Have fun! Make friends!
What about skis, skates, boots, helmets: Everything is provided, free of charge. You don't need to bring any outdoor equipment with you, except maybe the Fishing Poles, if you wish to explore ice fishing.
Are there any Meals included: Yes, 6 meals included with the full weekend payment. In addition, there will always be coffee, tea, and simple snacks in the kitchen.
Is alcohol allowed: in your living quarters and at the dining hall - yes. But you cannot be seen with an alcohol bottle outside on the premises, near the lake, or in the Sauna.
Is smoking allowed: Smoking is not allowed inside the premises. You will need to double check upon arrival where are the spots it's permitting.
Are there any other groups around: Yes, Jookender Family Retreat is happening at the same time and place, but you will have a completely different schedule from them and will only briefly meet during the meals, and for the Shabbat Services.
Is Free time allowed: Yes, you don't have to participate in all activities, as per your schedule. Enjoy the 1500 acres of beautiful surroundings on your own!
Background Check: Be prepared, that upon arrival to the premises, you might be asked to run a background check for violence record. Let us know if you have any issues, before the camp, so we can help you to avoid the hardship.
Refund Policy:
100% until February 28, 2019
50% until March 10, 2019
after March 10, 2019 - no refund, only replacement if you find someone to participate instead of you.
