Our Memory Training & Brain Fitness Classes are returning for a second year! We are excited to welcome back participants who joined us last year and equally happy to meet new students who would like to give their memory and brain a regular workout.
The program is designed for Russian-speaking adults of all ages who want to strengthen memory, attention, concentration, logical thinking, and overall cognitive activity through engaging exercises and intellectual challenges.
One of the advantages of this program is that you can start at any time. The classes are not structured as a sequential course where you must complete one lesson before moving to the next. Each session offers its own activities and exercises, making it easy for returning participants to continue and for new students to join.
We will continue offering one main mixed-age adult group. We believe that bringing different generations together makes the experience more interesting and creates opportunities for participants to interact, challenge one another, and learn together.
However, if at least four participants are interested in a separate group for older adults, we will be happy to add an additional group on the same Saturdays, either before or after the main class. The exact time will be coordinated with the participants.
Classes are held on Saturdays, approximately every other week, with adjustments for holidays.
Main Group: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
The program will continue throughout the year, but instead of publishing and charging for the entire year at once, registration will open in smaller blocks.
First Block: October–December 2026
Additional dates will be announced later.
FREE for Club Chaverim members
$180 for all 4 classes for non-members.
The classes are led by Mikhail Shur, Master of Sport in Chess.
Chess requires memory, concentration, logical thinking, pattern recognition, and the ability to consider multiple possibilities at once. Mikhail brings his experience with intellectual training into a program designed to keep the brain active while making the process engaging, social, and enjoyable.
Whether you participated last year or are discovering the program for the first time, you are welcome to join at any point.
Come exercise your memory, challenge your brain, and enjoy learning together!
