Hanukkah Paper Art Workshop for Adults and Teens

Join Jookender Community Initiatives for Quilted Paper Art 101, a hands-on creative workshop where adults and teens will learn how to make a beautiful quilted paper Hanukkah card using colorful paper strips and simple paper-art techniques.

Led by Sasha, this beginner-friendly workshop is designed for anyone who would like to try paper art, create something special for Hanukkah, and spend an evening making art together with other members of the community. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials are included.

Participants will learn the basics of working with rolled and shaped paper elements and use them to create their own Hanukkah-inspired design. Your finished piece can become a handmade Hanukkah card, a small holiday keepsake, or a gift for someone special.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

The event is open to adults and teens. Participation is free for Club Chaverim members and $45 per person for all other participants. All art supplies and materials are included in the registration fee.

Tea, coffee, and sweets will be served, so come ready to create, learn something new, meet people, and enjoy a relaxed evening together as we get closer to Hanukkah.

Whether you are interested in paper art, paper quilling, Jewish arts and crafts, handmade Hanukkah cards, or creative community activities, this workshop is an easy way to try something new without needing any previous art experience.

I, on behalf of my family, voluntarily sign this waiver and assumption of risk in favor of the Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc in consideration for the opportunity to use the owner’s facilities, the facilities rented by or given to Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc, or event set up for the Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc, that will take place Wednesday, November 18.

I understand that there are certain risks and dangers associated with the activities and use of the facilities and that these risks have been fully explained to me. I fully understand the danger involved. I fully assume the risks involved as acceptable to our family members and other paticipants I personally register, and agree to use my best judgment in undertaking these activities and follow all safety instructions.

I waive and release Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc. from any claim for personal injury, property damage, or death that may arise from use of the facilities or from participation in the activities of Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc.

In regards to COVID-19, I will comply with https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html

I am a competent adult and I assume these risks of my own free will.
