Finish the Painting: Adult Master Class

Have you ever looked at a painting and thought, “It’s nice… but I would do it differently”? This evening is your chance!

Jookender has collected more than 200 different paintings on 16" × 20" canvases—landscapes, flowers, city scenes, romantic views, and many others. Each one is already a finished painting, but maybe it needs something more. A silhouette of a woman on a bridge? A brighter sunset? A cat sitting in the meadow? More flowers? Different colors? Or perhaps there is an entire section you simply want to paint over and reinvent.

Choose a canvas that speaks to you and make it your own.

We’ll provide acrylic paints, brushes, stencils, and everything else you need. One of the wonderful things about working with acrylic over acrylic is that you can change almost anything. Don’t like part of the original painting? Cover it with paint, dry it quickly, and create something completely new on top.

No special artistic skills are required. This is not about painting “correctly.” It’s about experimenting, relaxing, having fun, and creating a piece that feels like yours.

And you don’t have to stop at one! Depending on how much you decide to change, you may be able to complete two or even three paintings during the evening—and, of course, you take your finished artwork home.

Jookender Waiver – Finish the Painting: Adult Master Class

I, on behalf of my family, voluntarily sign this waiver and assumption of risk in favor of the Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc in consideration for the opportunity to use the owner’s facilities, the facilities rented by or given to Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc, or event set up for the Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc, that will take place Wednesday, September 16.

I understand that there are certain risks and dangers associated with the activities and use of the facilities and that these risks have been fully explained to me. I fully understand the danger involved. I fully assume the risks involved as acceptable to our family members and other paticipants I personally register, and agree to use my best judgment in undertaking these activities and follow all safety instructions.

I waive and release Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc. from any claim for personal injury, property damage, or death that may arise from use of the facilities or from participation in the activities of Jookender Community Initiatives, Inc.
