Welcome to our June Family Camp! Yet again we’re renting a new location for it. The dates are June 16-18, at the PRINDLE POND CONFERENCE CENTER, 19 Harrington Road, Charlton, MA 01507. The Camp located at the Nature Science Center, and our Camp Theme is Outdoor STEM this year. We will have plenty of activities for all ages, in English, provided by the center, and some, in Russian(mostly, for under 5 y.o. and for adults), provided by Jookender.
The camp has it’s own beach on the lake and its own pool (no shower near the pool). Obstacle course, climbing wall for the little ones, all kinds of courts and fields, and much more.
Arrival time: Friday, June 16 at 6 pm EST or later
Departure
time: Sunday, June 18 at 12 pm EST (at least, you need to check
out from your room bythen).
This camp offers only one type of houses – standard, but this type includes private bath in each room. The rooms located in the West Wing and East Wing (flat-style buildings). The wi-fi might not work in some of the rooms, however, works in classes, dining area, and other common grounds. All rooms have windows, but don’t have A/C. All rooms have twin bank beds, and you need to bring your own bedding for it. Only mattress is provided on the bed. We would recommend bringing an extra blanket to cover the mattress. Of course, all personal belonging, soap, shampoo, towel, etc – all your responsibility to bring. Each family 3+ receives its own room. We will combine families of 2 people – 2 families in the room, unless you’ll be willing to pay an extra, single supplement, equal one more adult rate.
In addition to the standard type of living, we are offering camping sites (no electricity or shower, but plenty of public restrooms to use), and a commuter type. Our pricing this year as following:
Standard (rooms) (38 rooms total) –
- Early Bird - $210, Regular $232 (Adult 13+ y.o.)
- Early bird - $190, Regular - $210 (Child, under 13 y.o.)
- Children under 3 y.o. come free
- For a 2-people room – optional single supplement - $210 (EB), $232 (Re)
Camp Sites (unlimited) –
- Early Bird - $169, Regular $189 (Adult 13+ y.o.)
- Early Bird - $139, Regular $159 (Child under 13 y.o.)
- Children under 3 y.o. come free
Commuter Pass (for the whole weekend) -
- Early Bird - $149, Regular - $169 (Adult 13+ y.o.)
- Early Bird - $119, Regular - $139 (Child under 13 y.o.)

Club Chaverim current members get a $25 dollars off (coupon will be distributed in the club).
Teen-Volunteers needed (15+ y.o.): As always, we’re looking for Teenagers-volunteers (15+ y.o. or those who completed either The Melting Pot program or Express Course for Teacher Assistant). We need 2 Teen Volunteers per children group, and we will have as usual, 8-10 groups of children, under 15 children in each group. Teens will be accompanying the group from one lesson to another, help with projects, and entertain them in-between the classes. Parents of children under 5 y.o. must hang out nearby in the close (and visional) proximity from their children’s group. We will also need 2 Teen volunteers with the Life Guard License. This is not a requirement this year, because the pool is more like a “Hotel Style pool”, with no lifeguard on duty and parents are responsible for their kids. In our case, parents are ALWAYS responsible for their kids -at the pool, at the beach or elsewhere, that’s why it called “Family Camp”.

- May 15 or earlier – 100% return
- May 16 to June 6 – 85% return
- June 6 through June 15 – 70% return
- After June 15 – 50% return due to confirmed illness. No returns without it.
