FREE Spring Hunt

FREE Spring Hunt

Spring is a time when many families share a favorite tradition with children—searching for something hidden. In Jewish homes during Passover, kids look for the Afikoman, a special piece of matzah that is broken, hidden, and then found at the end of the Seder, often with a small reward. In other families, children search for colorful eggs tucked around the yard. Our FREE Spring Hunt brings together that same playful spirit of curiosity and discovery. Children will explore and search for hidden eggs filled with tiny toys and/or small pieces of matzah representing the Afikoman, keeping the focus on the fun of the hunt and the excitement of finding something special. Because the toys are very small (and definitely not meant to be eaten), this activity is recommended for children age 5 and up.

Please RSVP to jookender@gmail.com at least one day in advance with the names of participating children so we can prepare enough eggs. The event will last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, and all children must arrive on time so we can begin together—late arrivals may miss the hunt itself. Additional activities will be available alongside the hunt. No food or drinks will be provided, so please bring a bottle of water for your child.
