Dana Moochnick

Hi, my name is Dana Moochnick, I am a rising 10th grader at Needham High School. I am a Russian Jew (first born generation American) and am really proud to have strong roots in Israel. I have joined Jookender this past year to gain hands on experience, and learn about entrepreneurs; who develop, fund, and implement solutions to social, cultural, and environmental issues. This important concept may be applied to a wide range of organizations and instances, so it is essential to retain a strong grasp of it to implicate into our daily lives. From joining this program I learned how to efficiently write persuasive business and marketing plans, grants, and essays in general. Throughout this course, my language and writing skills immensely improved, in English and Russian, which not only helped me in this program, but also in school. I would like to pass on my newly gained knowledge to you, where you can also benefit from it.

Some things about me are that I like science, world history, and participating in school clubs. By being in clubs that I am interested in, helped me learn how to be a great team-mate, but also a great team leader. I am very versatile and adaptable to people and groups, which helps me accomplish great things with them. I love being creative and discovering new ways to help others in my community. In my free time I enjoy ballroom dancing, traveling, and participating in community outreach programs with friends. I am also a part of Story Time Crafts, a non profit, that I had the opportunity to help, by connecting it to Jookender this year. I loved implementing my personal experiences to Jookender. Conclusively, Jookender really impacted my life by introducing me to new people that share the same faith and values as I do. I’m looking for passionate, motivated, and hard working team players. I would love to have you as a part of my team, where we can together gain valuable experiences and skills to later use in our daily lives.
